Overview

In a world where your finest ingredients are either your greatest profit or your deadliest weapon, every recipe is a choice between a thriving shop and a winning fighter.

Players manage baking for their customers’ orders and baking their bread golems during the day. After closing, you use your baked bread golem to fight other bakers’ golems in the Dough Brawl Arena. Gain momentum from your quality of service and fight outcomes and use them to improve your mechs or your bakery.

The Process

At the begining of the project, we struggled to find a visual identity for the environments and overall look of the game, so that led me to refining the narrative of the story and the environment. After that point, it was smooth sailing from there. I was able to help aid in the design in creating systems for how the customers act during gameplay such as how many per day and how they order.

During the second half of the project, I focused on the art book and the trailer. For the art book, I had designed page elements and compiled photos and writings. And for the trailer, I had written and sketched te storyboards, wrote the script and timed the shots, and edited the trailer. I was in charge of listing everything necessary for the traier while my teammates helped gather those things I couldn't, and I would direct the others where needed.
